You can't make great wines unless you have great fruit - this is at the heart of the Belgravia philosophy. We take a non-interventionist approach so avoid sprays and chemicals where possible. The Belgravia vineyard has rich basalt soils but also, because of its altitude, giving greater reliability to the rainfall. The climate perhaps plays the biggest part in giving Orange some distinct natural advantages - the cool temperatures during most of the growing season coupled with dry autumn conditions are ideal for grape growing.
Our vineyard lies between 650-710 metres above sea level and is located 22 kms north of Orange.
