2010 Belgravia Merlot has just been awarded 96 points by James Halliday. This is what he says abput the wine.

Impressive colour and bouquet with a distinct aroma and perhaps wild rose; the palate lifts the wine another notch higher, blackcurrant fruit, powerful but balanced tannins and quality oak all in play. An Australian Merlot that a Bordeaux producer would instantly relate to, sweet plum fruit nowhere in the profile.

Belgravia Wines score a 5 Star Rating and 5 Glasses for its 2010 Chardonnay and 2010 Gewurztraminer.

Belgravia Wines is excited to announce that it has received a 5 star rating for the second year in a row and a 5 glass rating in the 2012 James Halliday Wine Companion for both its 2010 ‘The Apex’ Orange Chardonnay and 2010 Orange Gewurztraminer.
Will Hattersley, the owner of Belgravia said  “We are extremely proud to have received these ratings which are reserved for wines of the highest quality. The Apex Chardonnay received a rating of 96 and the Gewurztraminer a 94.
We are particularly pleased with the results for our flagship wine, the Apex Orange Chardonnay, one of only two chardonnays in the Orange district to have received 96 points, a score which is also the equal highest from all varieties in the region. The gewürztraminer is also a stand out and is described as having ‘more varietal fragrance than any gewürztraminer tasted for years’. The review highlights the great match of this wine with Asian food and at a retail price of $22, we believe it represents outstanding value.”
